Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts according to the following requirements.

1. Manuscript Preparation

• Manuscript Length
  • Empirical Research Articles: 6,000–9,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Systematic Literature Review (SLR): 7,000–10,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
• Structured Abstract
  • Maximum 250 words.
  • Written in a single paragraph without citations.
  • The abstract should include: Introduction/Objective, Methodology, Findings, and Originality/Practical Implications.
• Keywords
  • Provide 4–6 relevant keywords to improve indexing and discoverability.
• Reference Style
  • Manuscripts must follow the APA Style (7th Edition).
  • Authors are required to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • At least 80% of the references should be sourced from reputable international journals published within the last 10 years.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review and Anonymization

JPCIP applies a Double-Blind Peer Review process in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.

To ensure compliance:

• Separate Title Page
  • The Title Page must contain the author(s)' names, affiliations, ORCID (if available), corresponding author information, acknowledgments, funding information, and conflict of interest declarations.
  • This file must be uploaded separately from the main manuscript.
• Blinded Manuscript
  • The main manuscript must not contain any information that reveals the identity of the author(s).
  • Self-citations should be written in the third person. For example, instead of "In our previous study...", write "Previous research by Hutahayan (2024)...".

3. Ethical Compliance and Author Declarations

During the submission process, authors must confirm compliance with the following ethical requirements:

• Plagiarism Screening
  • All manuscripts will be screened using Turnitin and/or iThenticate.
  • The maximum overall similarity index is 20%, and no single source may contribute more than 3% similarity.
  • Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected.
• Declaration of Interest
  • Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
  • If no conflicts exist, authors should state: "The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest."
• Funding Statement
  • Authors must clearly identify all funding sources supporting the research.
  • If the research received no external funding, authors should state: "This research received no external funding."
• Data Availability Statement
  • JPCIP encourages research transparency and reproducibility.
  • Authors are encouraged to provide a Data Availability Statement indicating whether the research data, analytical code, or supplementary materials are publicly available or can be shared upon reasonable request for scientific verification and replication.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the manuscript being returned for revision prior to peer review or rejected if ethical standards are not satisfied.
